Climate change impacts

(English Below)

It takes only 34 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Chadian will produce over the course of the entire year.  Therefore, February 3rd (34 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Chad Day."

Chad is high vulnerable to the impacts of climate variability. While climate change may not have caused the environmental problems faced by Chad, such as desertification and water stress, climate change will certainly add to their impacts.
