Climate change impacts
It takes only 110 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Croatian will produce over the course of the entire year. Therefore, April 20th (110 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Croatia Day."

The effects of climate change in Croatia threaten to disrupt the country's water resources, biodiversity, marine ecosystems and coastal zones. Croatia is also projected to experience warmer winters, and in some cases temperatures may exceed the seasonal mean by 2.5 degrees.
