Il ne prend que 163 jours pour le Canadien moyen de produire la même quantité de gaz à effet de serre qu’un Gabonais produira au cours d’ne année complète. Ainsi le 12 Juin (163 jours dans l’année) est la journée des Impacts du Changement du Climat au Gabon.
Le changement du climat a causé une hausse dans la température ainsi qu’une diminution générale de la pluviométrie au Gabon. Les basses régions de plaine ressentiront les effets de l'élévation du niveau des mers. Le changement climatique augmentera avantage les températures au Gabon, ce qui aura un impact sur sa biodiversité.

It takes only 163 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Gabonese will produce over the course of the entire year. Therefore, June 12th (163 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Gabon Day."
Climate change has caused both an increase in temperature and an overall decrease in rainfall in Gabon. Lowland regions may experience the effects of sea-level rise. Climate change is expected to further increase temperatures in Gabon, which may impact biodiversity.
