Climate change impacts
It takes only 67 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Jordanian will produce over the course of the entire year. Therefore, March 8th (67 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Jordan Day."
Climate change is having and will continue to have a huge impact on the water supplies in Jordan. In fact, an article in the Jordan Times explains that "even if current rainfall levels increased by 20 per cent, it would not compensate for the water lost due to the expected rise in temperatures."
