Climate change impacts

It takes only 61 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Kittian will produce over the course of the entire year.  Therefore, March 2nd (61 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Saint Kitts & Nevis Day."

The Caribbean island nation of Saint Kitts & Nevis will feel the impacts of climate change in much the same way as other island nations. As sea levels rise costal populations will be displaced, erosion of the shore line will occur and more violent storm surges hit the cost.
