Climate change impacts

It takes only 42 days for the average Canadian to produce as much greenhouse gases as the average Saint Lucian will produce over the course of the entire year.  Therefore, February 11th (42 days into the year) is "Climate Change Impacts in Saint Lucia Day."

Saint Lucia like many other Caribbean countries will be affected by climate change through flooding, loss of marine and terrestrial biodiversity, reduction of potable water and increased coastal erosion.
